We will never sell, rent, or give your name, address, telephone number, email address or other personal information to anyone.

Options

• If you check the "Do send email for BTWOF events in my area" box, we'll send you email about those events.
• If you check "Do send an email when BTWOF launches new newsletters" box, we will send you emails when we launch new newsletters..
  
• If you check "Do send publisher or writer sponsored emails about their books or events in your area" box, we will send sponsored emails about specific books and events that would be of interest to our readers. Note: We will send any such emails ourselves, we will not release your email address to anyone else.

Renewal Notices

• We will also send you renewal notices when your subscription expires and at least two opportunities to opt out of the renewal process.
• Our credit card company (Bank of America) will also send you at least one opportunity to update your credit card information at renewal time and/or to opt out of the renewal process.
  

Historical Research

• If you indicate that you worked in a feminist or gay bookstore, publisher or periodical, we may email to ask if you'd be interested in participating in documenting the history of these organizations.

Credit Card Processing

• For your protection, all of your personal information is encrypted before it is sent to our credit card company (Bank of America).
• For your convenience and to minimize our expenses, we utilize annual recurring billing for all subscriptions purchased online with a credit card. This means that, during the month before your subscription expires, you will receive several renewal notices. If you wish to renew, you do not need to respond to these notices. If you choose not to renew, you must reply to at least one of these notices. You can also opt out of renewing at any time by logging into your account and checking either the "Do not renew at the end of my subscription" option or the "Cancel my subscription immediately" option.
• If you do not want the convenience of annual recurring billing, you can pay by check or money order, you can fax us your credit card information with a note that you do not wish recurring billing, or you can pay online by credit card and email customer service and tell us you donÅft want annual recurring billing.
• Subscriptions purchased by check or money order will receive renewal notices and subscribers can renew by sending a check, money order, or their credit card information.
  

Why do we ask for a phone number, address and back up email?

Email addresses tend to change frequently. Sometime subscribers forget to tell us when their email addresses change, or sometimes people lose email access or access to their address without notice, etc. If your email address changes and we aren't able to deliver issues you paid for, we'll contact you by telephone or by mail for your new email address. We will never sell, rent, or give your name, address, telephone number, email address, or other personal information to anyone. We do not and will not allow your personal information to pass on to any third parties in any way or form.
